grabbed by the handful
going national

with tough nuts to crack
packaged as taxicab
yellow and basic-black cans
minus the fanfare

with bursts of detail
unrelentingly bad
aggressive sexual acts
staged beyond comparison

ballots having been cast
“Voters Be Damned!”
hands jammed down pants
with little-or-no answers

found in the lab
meeting exacting standards
of exasperating logjams
under contract years in advance

being made from scratch
in manufacturing plants
that exceed capacity
becoming wary

via nerve-racked life spans
fearing failures
like high-rolling gamblers
becoming painfully aware
of “pure” chance
as tattletaled fanged
candidates advance...

via impassioned pleas
and incendiary tweets

opposed by constitutionally
calamitous briefs
as seen on the field
in the midst of global arenas
the American League
versus the National League...

for anarchists
that just won't quit 

while swaggering 
with unclear risks
before being killed

choosing to smoke cannabis
to quell morning sickness 

even in breast milk
unclear risks to infants 
sometimes contradictory 

as per directors
of addiction studying
motor function and cognition 

human smoothies are delish 
getting under thick skin
all about heritages 

once considered 
healing and protective 
personal interests 

political or amorous 
via exhibitions 
of multi-image inks

by no means contradictory 
with passion and clarity,
