attempting to shed light
on high-volume
reputed decline

at high decibel levels
of underground elements
becoming recklessly
heedless of consequences

like comically self-obsessed
unmolested never-ending
senses of helplessness

left unexpressed
lacking in contempt
for pseudo-harmless
